About Me

Hi! I'm Angela Welsbee. I'm 24, just graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education, and am now on my way to becoming an elementary school music teacher.
I have learned the basics of many instruments, but I know piano best. I also sing and compose a little in my spare time. I love kids and I love music for kids and I'm excited to spark a love of music in the next generation.

I grew up in an urban area where really the only wildlife I saw were pigeons and squirrels. I just moved to a more rural area for work and was delightfully surprised by the wide variety of creatures right in my backyard. This led me to buy feeders and birdboxes, which only spiraled from there and now I've fallen down a whole rabbit hole of birdwatching and exploring local wildlife.
I've taken a special interest in birds since their songs intrigue me and are a great inspiration for my musical studies, but you never know what kind of interesting things you'll find out in the wild. I appreciate any signs of wildlife I come across, even if it's just nests, or fur, or feathers, or even the leftovers of a scavenged meal.
